How to Digivolve

Digivolving is the process that a Digimon takes to evolve into a stronger, higher-level Digimon. This process can be done using many diffrent methods.

A Digimon can Digivolve by...

. Experience. If a wild Digimon battles enough, it may be able to Digivolve through gaining strength.

. A Digivice. If it has a partner and the partner has a Digivice, the Digimon will most likely be able to Digivolve.

. DNA Digivolution. If 2 Digimon's partners have a good relationship, the Digimon may be able to DNA Digivolve.

. A Dark Digivolution. If the partner treats his or her Digimon bad, it will Dark Digivolve to a Virus type Digimon that is evil.

. A Matrix Digivolution. If the Tamer has a blue card, he or she may swipe it. With the added power from Calumon, or Crystal

. Matrix, a Digimon will be able to Digivolve to Ultimate.
. If the partner is mad enough the Digimon may Dark Digivolve.
. If the partner wishes hard enough.

D-Fours
In D4, the digivices used are called D-Fours. Their functions are that of a cell-phone which is how it functions in real world but in the Digital World, it functions differently. This Digivice is the key to Data Digivolution, Matrix Evolution, Data Modifying, Forbidden Evolution, and Code Scanning. If the Tamer discovered a new digimon they had never seen before (Without a DJ being there), their D-4's will show them a hologram over the digivice's screen telling them about the Digimon they have encountered.

The D-Fours:
Digital World
. Stores Digimon Data
. Text Messages & Email
. Digivolving Capability
. Small Digital Camera
. Digital World Map
. Games such as Pacman, Tetris, Snake, Solitare, Freecell and Minesweepers.
. Locate Certain Digimon

Real World
. Cellphone Capability
. Stores Data
. Digivolving
. Text Messages & Email
. Wireless Internet Access
. Games
. Digimon Locator
. Small Digital Camera
. Ability to turn Digimon into data and store them.

Original Digivices
Not every Digidestined has a D-Four. Those who have been digidestined before the D4 kids obtain the original digivce i.e how the older kids in Seasons 2 kept origional digivices while the new kids had D-3s.
